Origin refers to the beginning or source from which something emerges. The term may describe the starting point of an event, the provenance of a person, the source of an idea, or the foundation of a development. In philosophy and art, Origin signifies not only a temporal beginning but the fundamental principle from which identity, meaning, and form unfold.
